Scott Inline High Shear Mixers have been mixing, blending, dispersing, hydrating, de-agglomerating, and emulsifying for over 25 years. The introduction of our new HSP and HSM Inline Mixers have now given us the ability to mill, disintegrate, emulsify and homogenize at a very high level. This higher level of shear, often eliminates Colloid Mills, Stone Mills, and even homogenizers.
Our Inline Mixers feature "quick change" technology which allows customers to change work-heads and even mechanical seal arrangements without having to buy new equipment. According to our customers, it is the easiest Inline Mixer to clean whether by CIP/SIP or using our tri-clamps for manual cleaning. These mixers can be used in a single pass arrangement or a recirculation loop depending on the application. Additionally, these mixers will self-pump on many products thus eliminating a transfer or circulation pump.
High Shear Mill (HSM Series)
The Scott Turbon High Shear Mill induces an extremely high level of mechanical and hydraulic shear at a lower flow rates through a multiple tooth intermeshed rotor stator arrangement. These units offer emulsification and milling that often eliminate the need for colloid mills and homogenizers. Multiple models feature flow rates from 1 to 300 GPM.
High Shear Pump (HSP Series)
The Scott Turbon High Shear Pump induces a medium-high mechanical and hydraulic shear while providing good self pumping through a single or multiple rotor and stator design. Multiple models feature flow rates from 1 to 700 GPM.
The original Scott Turbon Inline Mixer is designed for dispersing, blending, hydration, and emulsifying products. The IL Series is available for duplication of existing mixers, special applications, and spare parts. Capable of flow rates from 1 to 300 GPM.
